One Sentence

If I had to say in one sentence the whole point of what I'm doing with Year-by-Year, what would that sound like? Hmmm....

Every 'verse' of scripture has a time, a place, a person's voice and some recent events behind it, and the scriptures as a whole have one overall sequence they belong to.

And if I had a second sentence? All believers deserve to have this view of scripture.

Yeah. That's a pretty good way to put it! I feel very strongly that most christians don't have a strong grasp on this, but we all need to... IF - that is - IF we want to understand our Bibles better. And sure, the long version currently underway is much too long and too detailed for most folks, but if I keep at it for several more years, the final (shorter) version is going to be dynamite! And you're all going to LOVE IT! :)

So stay tuned, keep praying, and feel free to send me ridiculous heaps of "speed-it-up money"! :)

But God willing, one way or another... we'll get there yet!

What I'd really like to know is... would some of y'all please leave a comment to say, in your own words, what this project might mean to you?

To me, it reminds me that there is at least one other brother out there that is so ridicilously(sic) in love with his Lord, that he will spend all his spare time doing something simply so that He can be known better.

My one sentence.....thank you bro.

Wow! Hi Bill. The last time I checked on you, you were in Arlington. How time flies. My journey has taken me sooo much farther down the road to the truths of God. Best wishes as you continue your monumental project. Here's my blog link:

Blessings to you and yours.

Hi Bill, well, I have to say that from day to day it doesn't usually cross MY Mind - but when I check out my blogs and see yours sitting there, I am greatly comforted just knowing that a heck of a lot of incredibly important details and sortings are happening that are going to make it much more real when it does all come together, for people like me.
Thanks.

I think maybe sometimes we need to put down what we may think is so important and stay focused on the true truth, our Lord.
Maybe your view of scripture is just your view of scripture. Honestly, it sounds like you are making this more of an importance in your own mind.
Balance brother, balance.
If all your time is consumed, which you have said in other posts with your project yet there's no time for God, family, or the church, maybe there needs to be a re-adjustment of your priorities.

Not trying to put you down just maybe give a little different perspective from someone on the outside.
It sounds like this project is really important TO YOU.
Your bro in Christ

Christo, Don & Jenny - thank you all so much for the encouragement over time. It means more than I could ever say.

And my old bro Anony! So good to hear from you again. ;)

In case it truly bothers you, I never said I had no time for God or family. And I'm currently looking for a church that will encourage me in my work.

Know any?

Bill,

I can only tell you what you mean...You Are One with the Father and your giving this time, effort and your being to Him is worth everything. He loves that you pursue Him with all you have. Although you and I differ in the way we pursue Him...we are the same in the way we Love Him.

Keep on keeping on Brother,
Sis Annette of Jesus Christ

Hi Bill,
Are you the same nice brother that drove me to Roanoke several years ago? You were in Lithia Springs. If it is you, how did you get to Florida? I hope all is well with you.
Love to a brother,
Pat
