The younger she is, the more sense this makes. "Anything I want?" means something much different to an adult. At any rate, no girl was going to claim half his kingdom, for sure. That may even be our first clue on this whole deal.

On the web stuff, thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check with GoDaddy about that.Bill Heromanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05283809456471966882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12543231.post-30545803332336779232011-03-14T16:34:14.206-05:002011-03-14T16:34:14.206-05:00Interesting! I must say this still seems likely to me, given Herod's extravagant reaction. But I accept that this is by no means clear in the text. And I too have a dancer in the family so should be careful not to assume the worst too quickly.

By the way, my Wordpress statistics gave me a link to this post with the initial www missing, and when I clicked the link I got a GoDaddy parked domain message. I would suggest you try to set up your domain so that the non-www version redirects to the www version, or vice versa.Peter Kirkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13395635409427347613noreply@blogger.com
