Like It Is

(a philosophical poem about a common ideal)

Describe the situation?

You mean, tell you now
     what I know
          about what
               really happened?

Well, what can I say?
As far as I see things
Looking back on it now
It all happened so fast

I don't quite know
how to put this
But it was all going fine
And then everything changed.

I guess the thing of it is
One thing led to another
And now it is what it is.
If you know what I mean.

Maybe. I don't know.

Anyway, it was definitely
something like that
In a way
So to speak

Do you know what I mean?

So okay. Then yeah,
I guess that's
pretty much
basically
just about
kinda
the way it all went.

At least, that's all I can say.

Of course you
     don't have
        to take
           my
              word
                  for
                      it.

But that's what happened.

You know?

Very interesting...are you referring to current times or long ago?

Mmmm I like you way you think, I think. Also the way you write....or is it dictation? Words from time or for our time?
